| Ben 28/08/2007 12:30pm | First of all thank you for this small but very usable tool...but i have a Question (or is it a problem..?;-) )
is it normal, that i.FTP opens for every transfer of a File a new Port? I have transfered about 2000 very small files from a Unix workstation, and every time i open a new connection to this WS or transfer a file it opens a new port, upcounting, and i don´t know if the ports are close afterwards. Thanks for your help, greetings from Germany |
| fret 28/08/2007 10:52pm | This is a standard part of the FTP protocol. The ports are reclaimed after use, so they never run out. |
