Peter 08/01/2006 5:44pm | Hello,
I just tried i.Scribe 1.88 (Linux) on my system. I cannot access the drop-down menus. This is logged to the calling console: :~ > opt/scribe-linux/run-scribe opt/scribe-linux/scribe src/common/Lgi/GProcess.cpp,771 - Not a valid exe. _GetKdePaths: Couldn't run kde-config. GFile::Open failed open(/home/pi/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals,00000000) = -1 errno=ENOENT (No such file or directory) i.Scribe v1.88 (Final, Linux v2.6, Release, en) Trace: Code/ScribeApp.cpp:1199 - Failed to read in '(null)' src/common/Lgi/GProcess.cpp,771 - Not a valid exe. _GetKdePaths: Couldn't run kde-config. src/common/Lgi/GProcess.cpp,771 - Not a valid exe. _GetKdePaths: Couldn't run kde-config. src/common/Lgi/GTrayIcon.cpp:20 - Couldn't find SystemTrayWnd. src/common/Lgi/GTrayIcon.cpp:50 - GTrayIcon::SendTrayMessage(...) Don't have the SystemTrayWnd. The final lines appeared when I clicked on the File menu (I think), but no menu appears. Nor when I try to access it by pressing Alt+F My system is using some rather old version of KDE... It DOES work with i.Scribe 1.87, btw. |
