RS 17/09/2004 4:23pm | With dates presented in D/M/YYYY H:M:S format, sorting on the date is not as useful as I'd like. Could it be changed to YYYY/M/D H:M:S format? Or alternatively could you add an option for the user to set the date format? |
fReT 18/09/2004 2:59am | The date format doesn't effect sorting at all. As the dates aren't stored as text internally. |
RS 18/09/2004 4:47pm | Hmmmm... When I click the date column header the file are sorted in some way, but not by date/time. Here's the dates from the first few files:
29/3/2004 29/2/2004 28/8/2004 28/6/2004 23/2/2004 22/7/2004 22/6/2004 21/1/2004 20/5/2004 20/3/2004 18/9/2004 ... Looks like alphabetical to me. |
RS 18/09/2004 4:53pm | I'm running:
i.Ftp v1.83 (Win32 Release) Build: Jun 9 2004, 23:10:17 on WinXP SP1 (waiting on SP2 for a bit longer). |
fReT 18/09/2004 10:17pm | I don't see that at all. Maybe I've fixed it since that release. |
RS 18/09/2004 10:24pm | Isn't 1.83 the latest available release? |
fReT 18/09/2004 10:27pm | Yes it is, but I'm looking at the development build (whats in version control) which is a little ahead of the last release. |
RS 20/09/2004 5:18pm | Well then, the next obvious question would be ... :
When is a new version going to be available? Or... how about letting me test a dev version? |
fReT 20/09/2004 10:23pm | I have 2 smallish bugs to fix and then I can release a new build. So relitively soon. |
RS 21/09/2004 4:42am | Just for the record, it looks like it is currently sorting by Year, Day, then Month. Looking forward to trying the new version.
Thanks |
RS 16/11/2004 6:21am | Version 1.84 works the same as 1.83 as far as this date sort issue is concerned. |
