I tried the latest version (Beta38) and after several hours and lots of crashes, downloaded version 1.9. Am I correct in understanding that you need to re-install it every time you shut it down - either by closing the program or powering off my computer. (Yes, I am not very computer literate.) Thanks, Dan

No you don't have to reinstall Scribe every time. However the recent version may have issues running on Win7 because I think I built it using XP, and for whatever reason if I do that it doesn't run properly on Win7. If I build it on Win7 it will run fine... however my Win7 install is borked up at the moment because the hard disk it was on died and I'm waiting for Seagate to send me the warrentee replacement drive any day now. There is a new build ready to go that will have good Win7 support.

OK, thanks. Sounds like I'd better hold of from any more attempts (and hours) at using either 1.9 or the current build until you're up and running. DD

Please try v2.00 beta39 and let me know if you have further issues.

I'm also having crashing issues with InScribe, particularly when trying to configure it. I noticed that the build date for InScribe Beta 39 is Jan 17, 2012. Would this version also benefit from the fix that you did for IScribe?

Scott, I would re-download and install Beta39, you seem to have a pre-release build.
