Scribe Plugin SDK
Date: 7/1/2005
If you are interested in writing plugins for Scribe then I've just released a new build of the SDK for windows. It includes all the files required to build your own plugin and some limited documentation to get you started. There is also a template plugin that compiles (VisualC++ 6) and loads in Scribe. It doesn't do anything but you can see how it's structured and it'd be easy to take that and add some functionality.

Someone mentioned the possibility of an IPv6 plugin, which is entirely possible using the transport layer plugin type. This is how the SSL plugin works, by providing a new type of connection at the plugin level.

If your serious about developing a plugin I'm prepared to make adjustments in the Scribe code to work with new plugins. Or fix bugs that new plugins uncover.
