Mike 28/05/2003 10:20am | Thanks for the latest release.
I've only noticed one tiny thing in Test 29. I get the following output: ./Scribe Screen: 1024 x 768 @ 16 bpp Pixel24Size=4 i.Scribe v1.86 (Test29, Linux v2.4, Release) And the icon in KDE's system tray and task bar is messed up; its colours are wrong and it has several barcode-like vertical lines on it. Thanks for your hard work! |
Mike 28/05/2003 1:43pm | Still suffering from menus that won't respond to mouse clicks. |
fRet 28/05/2003 6:37pm | Oh, I know what the busted icons will be. The pixel24size printout is just a debugging thing for the moment, it tells me what size a 24bit pixel is according to X11.
Most implementations say 4, but at least one I know of says 3. I'll look into the mouse click thing today. |
Mike 10/06/2003 11:37pm | I re-installed Mandrake without any KDE support whatsoever, and I get the following when I run Scribe 29:
[mike@pc-00065 Scribe]$ ./Scribe Screen: 1024 x 768 @ 16 bpp Pixel24Size=4 sh: line 1: kde-config: command not found _GetKdePaths: Didn't get string back from kde-config. i.Scribe v1.86 (Test29, Linux v2.4, Release) sh: line 1: kde-config: command not found _GetKdePaths: Didn't get string back from kde-config. sh: line 1: kde-config: command not found _GetKdePaths: Didn't get string back from kde-config. sh: line 1: kde-config: command not found _GetKdePaths: Didn't get string back from kde-config. No real problem, just warnings I think. It doesn't seem to affect Scribe at all so far. Cheers |
fReT 10/06/2003 11:45pm | It'll mean that it's using default face/point size for the fonts.
I'm going to add gnome font config support sometime in the next month. And those warnings will go away. |
