Computer Hardware

Computers aspire to be silent peices of funiture sitting in the corner that we use as tools to organise, create, calculate and so on. However the reality is that they are hulking ugly monsters hissing air and whiring away. Well yesterday I installed some ultra-quiet Papst fans over the CPU and in the power supply. And the results are very pleasing, the noise level is significantly reduced. Alas there is still the ugly case and the whining optical drives... :(
