Canon Pixma iP5000

Since we got our new printer I've discovered a few other things that really rock about it. Firstly it does double sided printing! Very cool for a ink jet, and secondly it's fast and quiet.

We recently replaced the colour ink tanks with some generic brand ink that I got off ebay for $26 inc shipping (for all 5 tanks) and thats working out just fine. I can't tell the difference between that and Canon ink.

All in all it's behaving itself very nicely. I wish I could say the same for the Xpertvision nVidia 6200 that I recently bought to replace the aging g400. It's acting up alright, every now and then the screen just goes all dark grey and sometimes the screen doesn't come back on after a warm reboot. I'm wondering whether thats enough for a warrentee return.
