Scribe ISO-2022-JP/Other japanese codepage?
Date: 20/6/2002
I was wondering whether anyone had a ISO-2022-JP message in MBOX format that they could send me. I'd like to try supporting it but I want something to test against. Read furthur if you think you can help.
Basically I need a MBOX spool (obviously not from Scribe) with one or more ISO-2022-JP messages and some screenshots to show me what they should look like (from another mailer). This would help me a lot in adding support for it into Scribe.

Also if other formats are used a lot for japanese then by all means send me that as well.

As I can't read Japanese your data is truely safe with me ;) I don't care about the content, although it needs to have japanese characters in it (preferabled Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji), all I want to do is get the little sqiggles looking right :)

On that note I still havn't figured out how the Japanese IME works, i.e. how you enter Japanese text into the editor. So if anyone would like to step up to the plate and point me in the right direction then I'm listening.

I'm sure that once I support ISO-2022-JP then I'll hear ALL about how Scribe doesn't work with IME's :)
