Patrick 07/03/2009 7:31pm | Hi Matthew,
I need your help! My mailfolder is corrupt after a crash (the memory stick ran out of space). I'm running InScribe v1.90 Test5 Release on windows xp. FolderDump checked the folders.mail2-file but can't write the export-file. Error: <quote>11 folders found. Nodes sorted: 1 Correcting tree errors... (3712 nodes) Nodes Checked: 35, Parent ptrs fixed: 9, Missing directories removed: 250 Assigning nodes to folders... Owned: 930, Orphans: 2781 of which 2 are unassigned, 5 parent groups. Culling dupelicate nodes from folders... Culled 0 nodes. Writing export folders... C:\Code\Scribe\FolderDump\FolderDump.cpp:2138 - Couldn't open 'folders.mail2' for export. Export finished with 0 byte file.</quote> THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP. |

sorry |
fret 07/03/2009 8:15pm | Did you move the folders to a local hard disk with free space first? |
Patrick 07/03/2009 8:19pm | Yes, I did. |
Patrick 08/03/2009 10:03am | 1.
FolderDump still exports nothing. Viewing the folders.mail2 as plain text shows me my lost e-mails - there are still in the file (Yes - I know - it's NOT a text-file). Can I just export the whole file as text? Just to save the pure text of the mails? 2. Would the "File --> Repair Folder" help me? But it's not yet active? Thank you for your help. |
