Andreas 27/05/2002 4:18pm | I can't seem to get InScribe to work through a proxy server (HTML on port 80). I've entered the server name, username, and password on the connection options, however neither sending nor receiving works.
Also, the log show no activity in the status window. Any ideas? |
fReT 27/05/2002 6:20pm | The only proxy supported is a SOCKS 5 proxy. Html proxies only work for web pages and downloads, not email connections. Sorry. |
Yatt 11/09/2002 1:19pm | you can get other programs such as http tunnel that can allow you to use an http proxy, however i think you need another computer on the other side which can redirect it to the right port afterwards.
i believe on webattack.com there is software that allows you to do things like that and bounce off public servers but i havent tried it. |
