Mike 31/03/2003 9:01pm | Another crash. This time I was adding a new contact. I'd entered the name, email address and nickname, but it crashed when I clicked OK:
Unhandled Exception Code: c0000005 Description: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION Call stack: ------------------------------------------------------------------ 10017AC4: G:appsscribeLgi.dll 004047C9: G:appsscribeScribe.exe 1001465E: G:appsscribeLgi.dll 00427A95: G:appsscribeScribe.exe 77E3A244: C:WINNTsystem32USER32.dll Offset: 0x6E3 (EnumClipboardFormats) 77FA02FF: C:WINNTSystem32 tdll.dll Offset: 0x13 (KiUserCallbackDispatcher) 100135F3: G:appsscribeLgi.dll 00427A95: G:appsscribeScribe.exe 77E3A244: C:WINNTsystem32USER32.dll Offset: 0x6E3 (EnumClipboardFormats) 0040B73C: G:appsscribeScribe.exe 77EA847C: C:WINNTsystem32KERNEL32.DLL Offset: 0x191 (SetLocalTime) ------------------------------------------------------------------ Unhandled Exception Code: c0000005 Description: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION Call stack: ------------------------------------------------------------------ 10017B34: G:appsscribeLgi.dll Offset: 0x20E (GTree::OnFocus) 004047C9: G:appsscribeScribe.exe 1001465E: G:appsscribeLgi.dll Offset: 0x206 (GWindow::OnEvent) 00427A95: G:appsscribeScribe.exe 77E3A244: C:WINNTsystem32USER32.dll Offset: 0x6E3 (EnumClipboardFormats) 77FA02FF: C:WINNTSystem32 tdll.dll Offset: 0x13 (KiUserCallbackDispatcher) 100135F3: G:appsscribeLgi.dll Offset: 0x969 (GView::OnEvent) 00427A95: G:appsscribeScribe.exe 77E3A244: C:WINNTsystem32USER32.dll Offset: 0x6E3 (EnumClipboardFormats) 0040B73C: G:appsscribeScribe.exe 77EA847C: C:WINNTsystem32KERNEL32.DLL Offset: 0x191 (SetLocalTime) ------------------------------------------------------------------ |
Mike 31/03/2003 9:07pm | I can reproduce this several times.
Create a new contact. Enter the first name Hit tab Enter the last name Click the email list Paste in the email address Hit tab Enter the nick name Press return *crash* |
fReT 31/03/2003 10:03pm | This is fixed in Test16.
Btw the method to reproduce it was what made it possible to fix. The crash dumps need to have reprodution notes to be useful, although these dumps didn't have source / line numbers either because there wasn't [current] symbols available. Thanks for the feedback. |
fReT 31/03/2003 10:10pm | Just testing slashes:
c:\path\file |
fReT 31/03/2003 10:10pm | Ah good... now the forum doesn't eat slashes.
Excellent! |
