Bug 122 - Using keyboard with To in e-mail causes bad responses
Bug#: 122 Product:  i.Scribe/InScribe Version: v1.89 test7 Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows XP Status: RESOLVED Severity: major Priority: P2
Resolution: FIXED Assigned To: fret@memecode.com Reported By: moonlight.solutions@tesco.net
Component: Email Functionality
Summary: Using keyboard with To in e-mail causes bad responses
Opened: 2006-10-17 13:52
Description:   Opened: 2006-10-17 13:52
1) Create a new e-mail
2) Start typing an address into the box
3) Press tab to move to the options
4) Press up/down arrow to select an option
5) Press enter to choose the option

The email added has an interesting format of the e-mail address, then the e-
mail address again without the bit you typed to generate the suggestions.

E.g. If a contact Joe.Bloggs@isp.com exists
Typing Joe would provide his e-mail as a suggestion. If selected as above, the
to box would contain "To: <Joe.Bloggs@isp.com.Bloggs@isp.com>" which obviously
doesn't send!!

I've reproduced the bug.

FYI If you don't press tab it works ok.
